Artificial Intelligence Defense Agents (AIDA) Change Log

Use this article to stay up-to-date with changes to KnowBe4's Artificial Intelligence Defense Agents.

Note: Changes may include new, updated, deprecated, or removed features. KnowBe4 reserves the right to terminate access to, use of, and support of features that are included as part of the Subscription Services, which is common with SaaS services as they are constantly changing and improving. This allows us to adapt to the evolving cybersecurity industry so we can provide current, high-quality services.

  • June 3, 2026 - You can now manually send training notifications for Ongoing Training activity in AIDA Orchestration. Select Send Notification from the Actions menu on a single training assignment, or select multiple assignments to send notifications in bulk. Choose your recipients and notification templates, preview them, then send. Notifications are delivered to the selected users, their managers and admins. May 2026
  • May 19, 2026 - We've released the new Content Creation Agent! You can find it under the Customization section of the ModStore. You can use this feature to generate custom training courses from a single text prompt. This agent builds the course outline, generates visuals, can create an optional final quiz, and more. For more information, see our Content Creation Guide.
  • May 7, 2026 - We've updated AIDA Orchestration to use standardized job titles and user demographic data when personalizing security awareness training for your users. The ongoing training agent now uses consistent user profile attributes to deliver more accurate and relevant training recommendations to each learner. For best results, make sure your users' profiles include job titles. For more information, see the AIDA Orchestration Technical Overview.
February 2026
  • February 24, 2026 — AIDA Orchestration is now fully live! This agent automates your security awareness program by coordinating personalized phishing tests and training for every learner. By using real-time data to address knowledge gaps and identify vulnerabilities, AIDA Orchestration makes it easier than ever to drive down your organization's Risk Score.   • February 24, 2026 — We’ve added the Custom Security Awareness Proficiency Assessment (SAPA) agent. This agent uses an environmental survey to tailor questions to your organization's specific tools. This survey ensures your results reflect the actual risks and challenges your team encounters in their daily work. December 2025
  • December 23, 2025 - We've updated AIDA Orchestration to include automatic logo spoofing in phishing security tests. When AIDA generates a phishing template, it will now intelligently include relevant brand logos in the email body to train your users on brand impersonation.   • December 16, 2025 - You can now set a minimum passing score for policy quizzes. For more information, see our AIDA Policy Quiz Guide.
  • December 9, 2025 - We've added a new Deepfakes subtab under the Training tab for Diamond-level subscribers with AIDA. This feature allows admins to create personalized deepfake videos for security awareness training. Deepfake videos demonstrate how AI technology can convincingly impersonate trusted individuals, helping users recognize the risks of deepfake attacks. Admins can upload a short video of a person, such as a C-level executive, and select from curated training scenarios. AIDA then generates a deepfake video using AI-cloned voice and video technology.   • October 23, 2025 - We're excited to announce that AIDA Orchestration is now available as a technical preview. AIDA Orchestration represents the next evolution of our AI-driven security awareness platform, designed to automate and optimize your security awareness training intelligently. March 2025
  • March 27, 2025—We've added the Recommended Landing Pages agent to AIDA. This agent automatically suggests a landing page with your AIDA-generated phishing templates, or you can manually select a preferred landing page when editing your templates. For more information, see the Viewing and Editing Your Phishing Template section of the AIDA Template Generation Guide.
February 2025
  • February 26, 2025 - We've made a few updates to the AIDA Training Report. You can now include archived user data in the report and apply new filters to your search results. In addition, you can view phishing failure details for each user, such as the reason for the assigned training and which phishing template the user failed. For more information, see the Reviewing AIDA Remedial Training Results section of the AIDA Automated Training Guide.
  • February 11, 2025 - The ModStore page now includes a Knowledge Refresher filter under the Content Features drop-down menu. This filter is available only with an active AIDA add-on subscription.
  • February 3, 2025 - The Training page now includes AIDA Knowledge Refreshers if the AIDA add-on is part of your subscription. AIDA Policy Quizzes are also compatible with the KnowBe4 Learner App with an active subscription. in addition, three new badges are available for Knowledge Refreshers and Policy Quizzes. We also fixed a problem where the time shown for finishing a module differed on the console and mobile app versions, and now both versions display the same time. January 2025
  • January 30, 2025 - We've added the AIDA Callback Phishing Agent, which allows you to leverage generative AI to create custom callback phishing templates on demand based on your organization's specifications. This AIDA agent gives you the ability to better control the difficulty of your template by simply selecting the difficulty level of the template or by, more specifically, choosing the individual Social Engineering Indicators (SEI) in the template.   • November 22, 2024 - We've released KnowBe4's Artificial Intelligence Defense Agents (AIDA), which offer a powerful AI-driven solution for managing human risk in your organization. AIDA helps reduce risk and improve user behavior through four key agents: AI-generated phishing templates, automated training, policy quizzes, and knowledge refreshers.
