KnowBe4's Artificial Intelligence Defense Agents (AIDA) is a suite of AI agents that helps you manage both human and AI risk across your organization. AIDA continuously automates program administration and content personalization, so your security team can focus on strategic decisions rather than operational tasks.
The agents can be enabled individually or together, giving you the flexibility to build the program that best fits your organization's needs. Once active, each agent operates under an intelligent, goal-driven model that continuously assesses risk and automatically delivers personalized phishing simulations and training at the individual user level.
AIDA will continue to evolve over time, providing new ways to reach your goals.
How AIDA Works
AIDA is built on a strong and flexible foundation, using Amazon Web Services (AWS) to power its core features. Think of this foundation like a house that can easily be expanded as needed. AIDA uses special programs called Anthropic Claude models for its main creative AI abilities. For other specific tasks, we use our own unique algorithms.
We teach our AI models using smart techniques, allowing them to learn from a few examples. This technique helps them to produce accurate and specific results.
We are committed to using AI responsibly. This commitment means we work hard to make sure our technology is fair and doesn't reflect human-like biases.
We use AI by carefully training our models and setting up safety measures. These safety measures act like guardrails to prevent the AI from making things up, sometimes called "hallucinations", or causing other mistakes. This measure ensures our AI tools are dependable and trustworthy.

AIDA Orchestration
Use the AIDA Orchestration Agent to manage your security awareness program from one central location. Orchestration automates your security awareness program by coordinating personalized phishing tests and training for every learner.
The AIDA Orchestration agent includes three sub-agents: the Ongoing Training Agent, the Phishing Agent, and the Remedial Training Agent. Each sub-agent handles a specific part of the automation process, and all three work together under Orchestration to deliver a fully personalized program.

AIDA Content Creation
Use the Content Creation Agent to build custom training using natural language prompts. You can create training from scratch or base it on your organization's internal policies. AIDA Template Generation includes three agents that work together to streamline your phishing simulation setup. The Template Generation Agent creates custom phishing email templates on demand based on your specifications. The Callback Template Generation Agent creates templates specifically for callback phishing scenarios. The Recommended Landing Pages Agent automatically suggests a contextually appropriate landing page to pair with your AIDA-generated phishing templates.
