We are pleased to introduce a powerful new User Profile page, designed to streamline user management for administrators. Admins can now easily access and manage user information in one centralized location. This includes the following features: 

• MFA Reset: Assist users by resetting their Multi-Factor Authentication when required. 
• Transfer or Copy User Access Permissions: Transfer or copy the user's access permissions to another user. 
• Role Management: View and update user roles to ensure appropriate access levels across the Workspace. 
• Activity Monitoring: Gain insights into user behavior by viewing individual user activity logs. 
• Access Visibility: View the zones, folders, and file shares the user can access. This excludes those that have been shared via group or domain shares. 

The new User Profile page can be accessed in Workspace by navigating to Admin Tools > Users/Groups > Manage Users and Groups. 

Note: By default, only system admins will be able to view and edit user profiles. Other administrator roles on your Workspace can be customized to include view or edit rights.

  • Allows users to set up multiple MFA methods.
  • Ability for administrators to hide specific MFA options - some organizations may not want users to use SMS MFA, for example. 
  • Ability to highlight a recommended authentication method.
  • Ability to use a different authentication method at the point of login if it has been enabled and configured.

We are excited to announce the following improvements to Workspace: 

• Infrastructure improvements phase 2
• Lock signed PDF documents when exported from Workspace
  • This ensures signatures cannot be removed if a signed document has been downloaded from Workspace.
• Email MFA
  • Some organizations do not allow mobile devices, so SMS and the auth app MFA cannot be used. 
  • Email MFA enables these organizations to add an additional layer of security without compromising their policies.
• Ability to enforce a classification on upload
  • Ensures that users upload files with the correct classification.
