The Microsoft Defender SmartScreen (formerly Windows Defender SmartScreen) is a security filter for malicious and potentially suspicious websites. Unfortunately, this service sometimes results in false positives on Microsoft Defender's part–causing a misinterpretation of a safe KnowBe4 landing page, and flagging it as malicious.

If you or your users clicked on a link in a simulated phishing security test email and received an "unsafe" warning (as shown below), you can exempt KnowBe4 phishing and landing domains from SmartScreen scanning.
