How to Download and Use the KnowBe4 Learner App
The KnowBe4 Learner App allows you to access your KnowBe4 security awareness and compliance training anytime and anywhere. If your organization has the app enabled, you can use it to complete training assignments, read messages, view badges, and more. Available for both iOS and Android devices, the KnowBe4 Learner App is compatible with Android 8 and later and iOS 11 and later.

To download the app, open your mobile device's app store. Then, search for the “KnowBe4 Learner App” and download the app.
If you’re using a mobile browser, click If you would prefer to use a link instead of a QR code, click here. The page that opens will display a link for Android devices and a link for iOS devices. Click the link for your device and download the app.

Once the app is downloaded, follow the steps below to link the mobile device to your account.
- On a desktop or mobile browser, log in to your KnowBe4 training account.
- Click the KnowBe4 Learner App tab at the top of the page.
- On your mobile device, open the KnowBe4 Learner App and tap Log In. The app will prompt you to scan a QR code.

Use your mobile device to scan the QR code provided on the page.
Note: If you’re using a mobile browser, click If you would prefer to log in with a link, click here. The page that opens will display a link to log in to the KnowBe4 Learner App automatically.
Using the KnowBe4 Learner App
Just like your KnowBe4 Learner Experience (LX), the KnowBe4 Learner App can be used to complete assigned training, review past training, acknowledge policies, and view completion certificates. You can also find optional learning content, read your messages, and view your badges and leaderboard.
Note: If you do not have an internet connection, you can still access the app. However, the app will have limited functionality and display an Offline Mode banner. To access all app features, you will need to reconnect to the internet.
The app is divided into four sections. For more information, click the tabs below:
The Training section of the KnowBe4 Learner App lists all of your assigned training. A banner at the top of the page will display your training completion percentage. | ![]() |
You can tap on a card to view more information about the training assignment. If you would like to start this training, tap Play on the page that opens. You can also tap Download to make the training available offline. If an assignment isn’t available to download, the card will display Not Downloadable.

To view your completed assignments, scroll down to the bottom of the Training page. You can tap on a card to view more information about that completed training assignment. On the page that opens, you can tap the play icon to review the content or tap View Certificate to view your completion certificate. |

The Library section of the KnowBe4 Learner App lists all of the optional learning content available to you. For information about the types of available content, see our Learner Support: Navigating the Learner Experience guide.
You can tap on a card to learn more about that content. If you would like to enroll in the content, tap the play icon on the page that opens. You can also tap Download to make the content available offline. If an assignment isn’t available to download, the card will display Not Downloadable.
The Messages section of the KnowBe4 Learner App lists messages sent to you from your organization. If you would like to read a message, you can tap on the name of that message.
If you have unread messages, you will see a number next to the Messages icon at the bottom of the app.
In the Profile section of the KnowBe4 Learner App, you can view your achievements, access your app settings, change your app language, and manage your downloaded content.
Under Achievements, you can tap on the Badges card to view the badges you've earned and see which badges are still available. | ![]() |

Unlink a Device
You can link up to five devices to your KnowBe4 account. If you have reached five devices, but need to link a new device, you must unlink one of those devices.
To unlink a device, follow the steps below:
- Log in to your KnowBe4 training account.
- Click the KnowBe4 Learner App tab.
- The Linked Devices section lists all of your linked devices.
- Find the device that you want to unlink and click Unlink Device.
Once you have unlinked a device, follow the steps in the Download the App and Link Your Device section above to link a new device.
