This article provides instructions for resetting a forgotten password and updating your current password or security questions in your KnowBe4 account.
Resetting a Forgotten Password
If you are unable to log in to your account because you have forgotten your password, follow the steps below to regain access:
- Navigate to the KnowBe4 login page.
- Click the Forgot your password? link.
- Enter your email address and the security code displayed on the screen.
- Click Continue.
- Check your inbox for a password reset email.
- Click the link in the email or enter the provided activation code into the reset window.
- Answer the security questions associated with your account.
- Click Continue.
- Once verified, enter your New Password and click Reset Password.
Troubleshooting the Reset Process
If you cannot remember the answers to both security questions but have a mobile number linked to your account, you may be offered the option to verify via SMS code. If you cannot answer your security questions and SMS recovery is not enabled, please contact our support team.
Updating Your Password or Security Questions
We recommend updating your password and security questions periodically to maintain account security. To update your password or security questions, follow the steps below:
- Log in to your account.
- From the menu on the left side of the screen, select Change Password.
- To update your password:
- Enter your Current Password.
- Enter your New Password and confirm it in the fields provided.
- To update your security questions:
- Use the drop-down menus to select new questions
- Type the answers in the corresponding fields.
- Click Change Password to save your changes.
