To use KnowBe4 services such as sending and receiving secure messages, you must register for a free account. This article provides step-by-step instructions for creating and activating your account.
Account Registration Options
KnowBe4 offers three ways to authenticate your account. When you begin the account registration process, you will be prompted to choose one of the following:
- Microsoft Authentication: Log in using your existing Microsoft 365 credentials.
- Google Authentication: Log in using your existing Google Workspace or Gmail credentials.
- KnowBe4 ID: Create a unique password and security questions specific to your KnowBe4 account.
Registering Your Account
To set up your account, follow the steps below:
- Navigate to the KnowBe4 login page.
- In the Username or email address field, enter the email address you wish to register with.
- Click Continue.
- Select your preferred authentication method.
- Click Continue and follow the prompts to finish your account setup.
Activating Your Account
Before you begin to use your account, you must verify your email address. To verify your email address, follow the steps below:
- Check your email inbox for an activation email from KnowBe4.
- Activate your account using one or two methods:
- Click the activation link in the email.
- Copy the activation code from the email and paste it into the Activation Code field on the KnowBe4 registration page.
- Once complete, your account is fully activated and ready to use.
