The Sent Packages feature in the KnowBe4 admin panel allows you to track, audit, and manage secure information after it has been sent. This feature provides real-time control over who can access your data and for how long.
Note: For security and privacy reasons, the Sent Packages feature allows you to manage metadata and access rights, but it does not allow you to view the actual body or content of the secure message.
How to Access Your Sent Packages
To view the history of secure messages you have sent, follow the steps below:
- Log in to the KnowBe4 admin panel.
- Select Sent Packages.
- Select the tab for the time period in which the secure message was sent.
- Click on the Package Label of the message you wish to manage. A new window will open with detailed information.
Management Options
Once you have opened the details of a specific package, you can perform the following actions to maintain control over your data:
- Revoke Access
- If you sent information to the wrong person or the data is no longer needed, you can instantly remove all recipients' ability to open the package by selecting Revoke.
- Manage Recipient Lists
- You can modify the list of authorized users in real time. If you need to add a new person to an existing secure package or remove a specific individual's access, changes take effect immediately.
- Set Time Restrictions
- You can control the window of availability for your information. You can set an expiration date for the package and modify it if a recipient needs more time.
- View Audit Logs
- The audit log provides a comprehensive history of the package, including who accessed it, when and where, and any failed attempts to open it.
