This guide shows you how to create a "public share" link in Workspace. This feature lets you make a file accessible to anyone with the link, rather than restricting access to specific users.
When sharing a file, you can choose to make it accessible to anyone with the link, rather than just specific users. To create the share link, follow the steps below:
- Under Create new file share, select the Make accessible to anyone with the link check box.
- Use the Set permission level drop-down menu to select if the recipient of the public link can only view or view and download the file.
- You will be asked to authorize the public sharing of the file and accept a disclaimer.
- Once authorised, you will be able to copy the link to your clipboard or send it via email.
Note: When a public link is created, all zone admins will be notified.
