As a Workspace admin, accurately managing user access and understanding engagement levels is crucial for maintaining a secure environment. When you view a user profile, you will see a specific status assigned to that individual. This article provides a clear and essential breakdown of all possible user statuses, including Active, Been shared, Blocked, and Inactive, to help you efficiently manage your Workspace environment and clearly understand each user's current status.
| Status | Description |

| Active | This status indicates a user who has successfully signed into Workspace with valid permissions to access the platform. |
| Been shared | This status indicates a user who has had a zone, folder, or file shared with them but they have not yet logged in to Workspace. |
| Blocked | This status indicates a user who has had their account disabled by an admin. The user no longer has access to the platform and will receive a blocked message when attempting to sign in. |
| Inactive | This status indicates a user who is external and has logged in to Workspace without being shared any content first. |
