Misdirected Email
The Misdirected Email policy offers flexible configuration options, enabling admins to have granular control over prompt coverage.
Admins can choose one of the following options to configure the policy's prompt logic and scope:
-
All Emails
- Select this option for the greatest coverage, ensuring prompts and alerts are active for all email traffic. This option provides the broadest prompt coverage.
-
External Traffic Only
- Any recipient: Select this option to ensure that Prevent only prompts for misdirected emails sent externally. This option includes prompting on emails sent externally, even if the misdirect is detected for an internal recipient who is included on the email.
- External recipient only: Select this option for the most focused coverage, applicable to misdirected emails where the misdirected recipient must be external to your organization.
