One-click access reduces friction for recipients of Secure Emails by allowing them to view the email content without needing to create an account or authenticate. Recipients will receive a notification email containing a unique access link, allowing them to view the email using the Secure Message Portal.

One-click access is not the recommended setup for optimal security practices. Anyone who gains access to the unique access link can view the email content. One-click access can only be configured by a KnowBe4 employee, so contact our support team to enable this feature.

Workflow

The workflow of this feature is explained below:

1. A secure email is sent.

2. Selected recipients receive a notification email containing a unique access link.

   

3. Upon clicking the Open Secure Email button, the recipient is taken to the secure email.

4. When a recipient accesses the email, an entry in the Secure Email Audit Events is created, showing who and when the email was accessed.

   

5. The sender of the secure email has full access controls and can easily revoke access when required.
