Sometimes, the support team may ask for screenshots or an export of your registry keys to continue troubleshooting issues with the Microsoft Outlook add-in.

To gather these screenshots, please follow the instructions below:
- Open the Registry Editor by pressing the Windows or Command + R keys.
- Type "regedit" and select OK to open the Registry Editor.
- From here, browse to the following three locations and take screenshots of each location. The locations are:
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Egress\Switch
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\Egress\Switch
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins\EgressEmailProtection
- Reply to our support team on your ticket, including the screenshots.
Export of Registry Keys
To gather the export of your registry keys, follow the instructions below:
- Open the Registry Editor by pressing the Windows or Command + R keys.
- Type "regedit" and select OK to open the Registry Editor.
- Select File and then Export.
- On the window that pops up, you can specify the location of the registry keys you would like to export or export all of your registry keys. If you want to narrow down to what we usually need to see, these are below, but our support team will let you know if we need any additional locations:
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Egress\Switch
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\Egress\Switch
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins\EgressEmailProtection
- Reply to your support engineer on your ticket, including any export files.
