The KnowBe4 Academy is an education platform where admins can learn how to successfully use and integrate KnowBe4’s products. In the academy, admins can follow various learning paths for different areas of KnowBe4, including KSAT, PhishER, and SecurityCoach. If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions about the academy, reach out to academy@knowbe4.com. 

Accessing the Academy

Before accessing the academy for the first time, ensure your first and last name is entered on the admin Profile page.

To access the academy from your KSAT console, click your email address in the top-right corner of the page. Then, click KnowBe4 Academy.

To access the academy from your PhishER console, click the user icon at the bottom of the navigation bar. Then, click KnowBe4 Academy.

Setting Up Your Profile

We recommend setting up your profile to customize your settings and preferences.

To set up your profile, follow the steps below:

1. Log in to the KnowBe4 Academy.
2. Click the profile picture icon in the top-right corner of the page, then click Settings.
3. You’ll be taken to the User Settings page.
4. On the Profile subtab, you can edit your profile picture, personal details, and more.
5. When you’re finished editing information on this subtab, click Save.

Navigating the Academy

You can navigate through the academy to see our courses for our different products. For more information, see the subsections below.

Home

On the Home page, you can view our introductory courses, such as PhishER 101 and KnowBe4 101.

From this page, you can also view our Knowledge Base, connect on the KnowBe4 Community, or go to KnowBe4.com.

Topics

On the Topics page, you can view all of your learning topics organized by category.

When you click on a specific topic, you’ll be able to view all the courses for that topic. You can click Follow to receive notifications when new lessons are added to the topic.

Library

On the Library page, you can view all of your academy content. When you select a activity, you’ll be taken to that activity’s page where you can see all of the lessons available for that course, organized by module.

1. Course information: This section displays the title of the course and information about the course, including the learning path this course belongs to. In this section, you can also rate the course after you’ve completed it.
2. Favorites: Click this button to add this course to your favorites. Your favorites can be accessed by clicking your profile picture in the top-right corner of the page, and then clicking Favorites.
3. Get Started: Click this button to start the course. If you’ve already started the course but haven’t finished it yet, this button will say Resume.
4. Module information: Each module section displays the module’s name, description, and lessons. Click the lesson title to be taken to that specific lesson’s page.
