The Secure Email Gateway (SEG) setting in Defend allows admins to specify the email gateway used by their organization. The SEG setting ensures Defend can work seamlessly with your organization's email security system, enhancing email security without disrupting existing workflows or causing conflict with your current mail flow.
To configure the SEG setting in Defend console, follow the steps below:
- Log in to the Defend console.
- Navigate to the Settings page.
- Locate the Secure Email Gateway dropdown.
- Select your organization's SEG from the available options.
- Select Save Changes.
Notes:
- If you do not see your SEG listed in the dropdown, select Other. You may need to contact support to ensure compatibility between Defend and your SEG.
- If you do not use a SEG, select Microsoft 365.
