Editing Custom Questions
From the Custom Questions page, you can edit the custom questions that you have already added to your platform.
It is important to note that custom questions are dynamic. This means if you edit a custom question, from either the Custom Questions page or from a questionnaire, all instances of the question are affected. This is further-explained in the two examples, below:
- Custom Question A has been added to three questionnaires. From the Custom Questions page, you edit Custom Question A. The changes that you've made to Custom Question A are reflected in each of the three questionnaires.
- Conversely, Custom Question A has been added to three questionnaires. You open one of these questionnaires and edit Custom Question A (from the questionnaire builder). The changes that you've made to Custom Question A are reflected in the other two questionnaires and on the Custom Questions page.
Follow the steps below to edit a custom question from the Custom Questions page:
- Click the pencil icon button to the right of the question (shown below).
- Make the necessary changes, then click the checkmark icon button to save your updates.
The changes are immediately applied to all instances of the custom question.
