Phish Link Domains and Landing Domains
Phish Link Domains and Landing Domains are both used in phishing campaigns, but they serve different purposes. See the table below for more information.
Phish Link Domains |
Landing Domains |
A phish link domain is a URL used for the simulated phishing link within a test email. Users can see this URL when they hover their mouse over the link, button, or image. When creating a phishing campaign, you can set the phish link domain to random or select a specific domain. You also have the option to create custom phish link domains and hide unwanted domains. For more information, see our Phishing Domain Management article. |
When a user clicks on a simulated phishing link, the phish link domain will redirect them to a landing domain. Users can see this URL in the address bar of their browser when they view a landing page. In your Account Settings, you can set a default landing domain to be used across all email templates. When creating a custom email template, you have the option to select a domain that is different from your default landing domain. For more information, see our Account Settings article and our How to Create and Edit Email Templates and Landing Pages article. ![]() |
