In this article, you will learn how to integrate Mimecast with SecurityCoach. Once you set up this integration, data provided by Mimecast will be available under the SecurityCoach tab of your KnowBe4 console. This data can be viewed in SecurityCoach reports and used to create detection rules for real-time coaching campaigns. Set Up the Integration in Mimecast

To set up the integration in Mimecast, follow the steps below:

1. Log in to your Mimecast console.
2. Select the Administration Console tile.
3. From the drop-down menu on the left, navigate to Services > API and Platform Integrations.
4. In the Available Integrations section, find the Mimecast API 2.0 tile and select Generate Keys.
5. Read the terms and conditions and select Next at the bottom-right corner of the page. You’ll be taken to the Fill in your Application Details page.
6. In the Application Name field, enter a name for this integration, such as “KnowBe4”.
   
7. In the Category field, select Business Intelligence.
   
8. In the Products field, select all of the following options:
   
   
   • Threats, Security Events, and Data for CG
   • Email Security Cloud Gateway
   • Threat Management
   • Audit Event
   • Security Events
   • Connector
9. Then, click Apply at the bottom-right corner of the Products drop-down menu.
10. In the Application Role field, select Basic Administrator.
    
11. In the Description field, enter a description for this integration.
    
12. Click Next at the bottom-right corner of the page.
13. On the Notification Settings page, enter the name of a Technical Point of Contact and their Email.
    
14. Click Next at the bottom-right corner of the page.
15. On the Review your information page, click Add and Generate Keys.
16. Copy the Client ID and Client Secret and save them to a secure place you can easily access.

Set Up the Integration in SecurityCoach

To set up the integration in your KSAT console, follow the steps below.

1. Log in to your KSAT console and navigate to SecurityCoach > Setup > Security Vendor Integrations.
2. Locate Mimecast and click Configure.
3. Paste your Client ID and Client Secret that you copied earlier.
4. Click Connect.
