You can merge duplicate users with our Merge Users tool. With this tool, you'll be able to safely transfer important phishing and training data to the user profile you want to keep. 

Merge Users

To merge users, follow the steps below:

1. Log in to your KSAT console.
2. Navigate to Users > Merge Users.
3. In the Select Target User field, select the user profile you would like to keep in the console.
   Important:If you're a Platinum or Diamond customer and your organization uses Security Roles, the merged user will assume the rights of the target user after the merge is complete.
4. In the Select Merge User field, select the user profile you would like to remove from the console. 
5. Once both users are selected, you will see all of the data that will be retained from each user. See the image below for an example.
6. After reviewing the data, click Merge Users at the bottom of the page to merge the data.

Retaining Data with the Merge Users Tool

With phishing campaigns, if both users participated in the same campaign, the user data with phishing failures will be retained. If only one user profile participated in the phishing campaign, that data will be retained regardless of which user profile had the failure.

With training campaigns, if both user profiles participated in the same campaign, the user data with the most progress will be retained. If only one user profile participated in the training campaign, that data will be retained regardless of which user profile took the training.

Admin privileges and Security Role permissions are only retained if they originally belonged to the target user you want to keep. Additionally, group membership and user profile data from the merged user will not be copied to the target user. The user that is created after the merge will retain the group membership and user profile of the target user.
