In this guide, you’ll learn how to integrate Google Chat with Real-TIme Coaching. You can use Google Chat to send Real-Time Coaching notifications to your users when risky activity is detected on their devices.

Setting Up the Integration

To set up the integration, follow the steps below:

1. Log in to your KnowBe4 SAT console.
2. Navigate to Coaching > Setup > Delivery Setup.
3. Select Configure on the Google Chat tile. 

4. Select Add Workspace.
    

   Important:If you’re using a Chrome browser, you must be logged in to your admin account to install the app.
5. You’ll be redirected to the Google Workspace Marketplace page. Select Admin Install.
6. Accept the permissions for the installation.
7. In your Google Workspace Admin console, select the users you want to enable the integration for. You can select specific groups or all users. You can add new groups or users at any time from your Google Workspace Admin console.

After you’ve successfully integrated Google Chat, you’ll see a confirmation message on the Google Chat workspace setup page to verify that all your groups or users have been added. 

To test this integration, select Send Me a Test and enter the email address of the user you would like to send the test to.

Deleting the Integration

To delete this integration, you’ll need to delete your configured Google Chat workspace from Real-Time Coaching and from your Google Workspace admin console.

Deleting from Real-Time Coaching

To delete your Google Chat integration from Real-Time Coaching, follow the steps below.

1. Log in to your KnowBe4 SAT console.
2. Navigate to SecurityCoach > Setup > Delivery Setup.
3. Select Configure on the Google Chat tile.
4. For each workspace, select the three dots icon from the Actions column, then select Delete Workspace from the drop-down menu.

Deleting from Google Workspace

To delete the Google Chat integration from your Google Workspace admin console, follow the steps below.

1. Log in to your Google Workspace Admin console.
2. Navigate to Google Workspace Marketplace apps > Apps list.
3. In the Domain Installed Apps field, select the KnowBe4 Security Coach app.
4. Click Uninstall App.
5. Click Uninstall to confirm you want to remove the app.
