Managing Email Templates and Landing Pages
In your KMSAT console, you can manage your phishing email templates and landing pages from the Phishing tab. Managing Phishing Email Templates
In your KMSAT console, you can manage your phishing email templates and view the templates we offer. To manage phishing email templates, follow the steps below:
- In your KMSAT console, navigate to the Phishing tab.
- Select the Email Templates subtab.
- Select the section of templates that you would like to view. The My Templates section shows all templates that you created. The System Templates section shows all templates created by KnowBe4 that you can use in your campaigns. The Community Templates section shows templates sent in by our users that you can use in phishing campaigns.

My Categories: This menu will show all of your available phishing email templates grouped by category. By hovering your mouse over a category, you will see options to select Edit, Delete, or Hide that category.
Note: Only the Hide option will be available for the System Templates and the Community Templates sections. The My Templates section has a Drafts category that stores all the templates you create and save by default. You must move a template out of the Drafts category to use it in a Phishing Security Test (PST). For more information on moving a template out of the Drafts category, see our How to Create and Edit Email Templates and Landing Pages article.
- +Add: Click the +Add button to create a new template category. This feature is only available in the My Templates section.

Template Name: Under this section, you will see a check box next to each template. If you select a check box, the Selected Templates header will display at the top of the page. Here, you can move all selected templates to your chosen category
In the My Templates section only, you will have the option to export, share, or delete templates. For more information, see below:
- Share this template with the community: Click here to share your selected template in the Community Templates subtab.

Export: Click here to export your selected template to your device.
Note: The Export button is only available to account management admin sessions impersonating other accounts.
- Delete: Click here to delete your selected template.
- Search: Enter the name of a template in the search bar to find it.
- Actions: Under this column, you will see two options: Preview and Hide Template. Clicking Preview will open a pop-up window that shows you what the phishing template looks like for users. Clicking Hide Template will hide the template from your dashboard.

In the System Templates section, there are some templates not intended for use in PSTs that we mark with a (Not PST) tag. These templates are our Security Hints & Tips and Scam of the Week newsletters, which contain information about how to stay safe from common security threats. For more information, see our What Is the Security Hints and Tips Newsletter? article and What Is the Scam of the Week? article.
If you want to move a community template to another category so that you can use the template, follow the steps below:
- From the Community Templates section, select the check box next to one or more email templates that you would like to use.
- Click the Add to Category drop-down menu at the top-right corner of the section and choose a category for the templates you selected.
- Click the Add button to add your templates to the selected category.
Managing Landing Pages
In your KMSAT console, you can manage your phishing landing pages and view the landing pages we offer. To manage landing pages, follow the steps below:
- In your KMSAT console, navigate to the Phishing tab.
- Select the Landing Pages subtab.
- Select the section of landing pages that you would like to view. The My Landing Pages section shows all landing pages that you created. The System Landing Pages section shows all landing pages created by KnowBe4 that you can use in your campaigns.
For more information about how you can manage templates in these sections, see the screenshot and list below:
- My Categories: This section will show all available landing page templates in your system. You will see categories used for storing all landing page templates. By hovering your cursor over a folder, you will see options to either Edit or Delete a category.
- +Add: Click the +Add button to create a new landing page category. This feature is only available for the My Landing Pages section.
- Title: Under this section, you will see a check box next to each entry. If you select this check box, the Selected Templates bar will display at the top of the page. Here, you can move all selected landing pages to a category of your choosing.
- Search: Enter the name of a landing page in the search bar to find it.
- Actions: Under this column, you will see two options: Preview and Copy the landing page URL. Clicking Preview will show you what the landing page looks like for users. You cannot share landing pages outside of the console using the preview URL or the URL in the text box. To share a landing page, you must set up a test phishing campaign with any of the users of your choice.
