Pause Assigned Training by User
Cu răspunsWhen we have users go on unplanned medical or personal leave, we have no way to pause their assigned training. The emails to the user and their manager start to pile up.
Allow individual user assigned training to be paused for a specific amount of time, such as 6 weeks, 2 months, etc., then automatically resume sending out the notifications as required.
Thank you!

Hi Debbie,
Good to hear from ya! Thanks for bringing this up. While we currently can only offer the option of setting training campaigns with no end-dates for these situations, I think your suggestion is wonderful! I've gone ahead and submitted this to our development team for further consideration.
If you or anyone else has more to add to this suggestion, feel free to give us a shout once more here. :) We absolutely love hearing from you guys!

We have the same issue in our company. Managers are complaining that we keep inviting people who are on extended leave, which can be sick leave, maternity leave, sabbaticals etc.
Ideally we should be able to set a date range (from date to date) for a person to be exempted from any training and phishing campaigns.
We can use smart groups to exempt people on a campaign by campaign basis but of course we would need to review and adjust that smart group manually every month. And of course we would need to keep track of who needs to be removed when in a separate process/tool. Not really feasible for large size companies.

Workaround: Use Smart Groups and configure them such that the membership equals 0.
While campaigns underway can't be edited, Smart Groups belonging to that campaign can.
In my case, I had a rolling campaign (w/o start or end dates) that would enroll people in new campaigns/groups as they completed previous training. I needed to pause the campaign for everyone. I just added another criterion to the Smart Group where Primary email must not end in our domain name which effectively excludes everyone regardless of any existing criteria.
If your campaign contains legacy groups, then clone it and reconfigure the new campaign with Smart Groups and close the original campaign. Then you can edit the Smart Group to behave as you wish. (note: Campaign start/stop dates may need editing to match your current timeline).
When you're ready to un-pause the campaign, simply remove the Smart Group criterion that was excluding everyone.

Hi Debbie,
Thanks for posting. Unfortunately, I do not have any insight into if this is being implemented or not. I do think that this would be a very cool feature to have though. I have added you to this feature request so our development team can see there is continued interest in this.
-
I'm also needing this feature. Several times now people who have been assigned training are later found out to be on leave. The only option at that point that I can find is to force pass them. It would be more preferable to put their training on-hold so they can resume when they get back. Instead I'm having to manually keep up with when users get back then manually reset their training progress.

@Alex Lawrence and others, this request has been implemented! Just go to the user information tab, at the bottom left column, you can indicate someone is out of the office until and provide a date. This pauses training campaign notifications to the user and manager. This was implemented in July.

Hello All, Thank you for your responses on this feature topic! This had indeed been implemented and can be found following this article http:// https://support.knowbe4.com/hc/en-us/articles/360009588974#OFFICE
From the Article: Out of Office Until Near the bottom of the User Information tab, you have the Out of Office Until option. You can use this option to pause training notifications for a user while they are out of the office until the selected date. Notifications sent to managers and admins about this user will also be paused.
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
Thank you,
