Base64 Encoding

I'm requesting the ability to do Base64 encoding in the email template so that the images will load without user prompt. This is especially true for users who use Microsoft Outlook as it will automatically block the download of images by default. By using Base64 encoding we can bypass Outlooks security measures and have the ability to make images load with the email. This in turn greatly expands the limits to which templates can go. After all the bad guys won't resist this method, why should we?

  We, too would like to know the status of this feature request. It's over 2 years old and is easily the #1 enhancement you could make to your email templates.

  Thanks for posting. Unfortunately, I do not have any insight into if this is something that will be implemented. Those decisions are entirely up to our development team. I have, however, added a feature request for you on this so that they can see there is continued interest in this.
