Don't allow reporting KnowBe4 training emails as phishing

A lot of my users use the outlook plugin to report the training email they receive after clicking on a phishing test as a phishing email.

It would be really nice if the plugin would prevent them from reporting those as phishing, and instead display a customizable message to basically say 'no, this is legitimate, please do your training'.

Hello All,

I wanted to update this post, while we do not have the functionality embedded into the PAB for this item we do have a way to accomplish this task by using the PhishER Platform.

You can use the Phish Alert Button to push emails into PhishER. These emails will then be run through a set of rules where an action can be triggered against them. It's possible to set up a rule to look for training emails, send a custom message back to the user utilizing an action (something telling them to do their training), and even send the original email back to them so you can be sure they have it.

I do realize that this is not the exact functionality that is being requested here so we'll keep this topic open!

We have the same issue. It would be nice if the PAB had a 3rd variable for Training Notifications, and a custom message displayed to users in that situation.

I would like to bump this post again as this feature would be excellent as well as an automated reply whilst returning the email. Please add it to the road map.

This would be nice, in the meantime, I went ahead and started creating notification emails with a custom company logo header in them to try and hammer home the point.

Please correct me if I am misunderstanding you here - You are saying that while this functionality does not exist, you are happy to provide us a workaround if we spend more money to purchase the PhishER Platform? Forgive me if this does not seem like a solution, but rather is a sales pitch.

Hello Sean,

My sincerest apologies if that came across as a sales pitch. I wanted to make sure that everyone was aware that we do have a workaround for this functionality using the PER platform, we always try to provide workarounds on this board when possible even if they involve other platforms.

We will continue to keep this request open for the development team and for additional contributors, as using the PhishER platform is not a viable solution for all of our customers.

I again apologize for anything that seemed like a sales gimmick on my part that was not the intent.

Are there any updates on this feature request? I would like to be added to it as well please. We are getting alot of users reporting the training notifications as phishing. It would be great if the add-in won't allow them to report it.

Thanks for reaching out! I've checked the latest on the feature request and I confirm that our team still has this active and we're continuing to monitor customer requests for this functionality.

At this moment, this feature request is not on our short-term road map and we don't have an ETA, but we'll continue to monitor customer requests for this functionality which will increase the priority. We prioritize feature requests based on the volume of how many customers are requesting the functionality.

I have up-voted this and would like to add my name to the list for this feature. It would also like to add my support for Guilherme Moroni's suggestion regarding having a 3rd variable that allows for Custom message to be displayed to the user and automatically send the original email back to them.
