Difficulty opening pdf in Adobe Acrobat after installing Second Chance

I just started testing KnowBe4's "Second Chance" and really like where they're going with this!

But I did run into an issue:

I enabled the "Protected Mode", "Run in AppContainer", and "Enhanced Security"  security options in Adobe Acrobat. When I installed KnowBe4's "Second Chance", I can no longer open pdf files. I get the following message: 

I do not want to turn Adobe Acrobat's security features off. 

Has anyone found a way to make this work?

  Due to some changes that Adobe has implemented in their software, at this time customers may experience an issue with being able to open PDF attachments when 2nd chance is enabled.   Seeing the same thing. After installing second chance Acrobat Reader 2020 Classic or Acrobat Reader DC won't open with the default setting of run in AppContainer enabled.

  I will submit a ticket with support but wanted to confirm I am having the same issue with Acrobat's AppContainer function.  Second Chance breaks the AppContainer security function.
