Safely downloading potentially unsafe attachments for further analysis

I'd like a way to safely download attachments that might be unsafe so that I can load them into my malware analysis lab.

Could you add an option to download an encrypted password-protected zip file containing the attachment?

Or provide an alternative way of logging into PhishER so that I can log in via my lab machine without using a domain-joined account?

 

Right now there is no safe way of retrieving potentially unsafe attachments from PhishER and copying the attachment to a secured area for further analysis.

  Thanks for posting to the community board. I've gone ahead and submitted this feature request to our development team for the ability to safely download potential unsafe attachments so you can analyze them.

  You could open up a sandbox and right click the little download button and grab the link and then open it in the sandbox. Quick easy and then just toast the sandbox after review.
