+1 to this. It is not a valid workaround to require an entire legacy AD server to replicate the AzureAD directory via ADDS, to use the provided connector.  It would be greatly beneficial to have a direct AzureAD sync or a SCIM provisioning API.  Thank you!

Any idea when Jumpcloud will be supported? We don't use Active Directory.

    Hi Alex,

Thanks for posting. I do not have any insight into if they are planning to support Jumpcloud but I do know that it has been requested before. I have gone ahead and added a feature request for this on your behalf as well so that our development team can see that it is definitely something that is being wanted.

Plus one for this feature request, please. I work with over a dozen companies that could take advantage of auto provision of users via SKIM directly from AzureAD.

Why is this marked as Completed?  This should not be Marked as completed.  The feature doesn't exist for native AAD account creation... or does it??? We don't want the AD integration... just AAD please

    Hi Jordan,

The SCIM application has been completely revised and is currently being tested by select customers, but it will be widely available soon! If you would like to be part of our beta testing, please contact your Customer Success Manager.

You can find additional information in our SCIM Configuration Guide, found here. Please note that this article can only be viewed by users who have signed in to KnowBe4’s Knowledge Base.

    Hi Mario,

The KB article makes it sound like it can be used with any IdP, but then it states that Azure AD is required. Will it work only with Azure AD? We don't use AD at all so need SCIM to be IdP independent.

We currently use Google Workspace IdP and Jumpcloud.

    Thanks,

    Alex

    Hi Alex,

I appreciate your response! That is correct, currently, Azure AD is one of the pre-requisites for SCIM https://support.knowbe4.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052380374-SCIM-Configuration-Guide#PREREQS. I understand your concerns regarding SCIM being IdP independent.

Regarding your feature request, I've submitted it to our development team for review! We base a lot of our new releases and features on customer ideas and requests, so we do appreciate your input and ideas. For any others who agree with this request, please feel free to add your input so we can add a +1 to each new request!

    Thank you,

    Hi Mario Rodriguez,

You mentioned that is being tested by selected customers. Can we tested it too? can we be a selected customer? We are urged to have a solution to sync users with AAD or Jumpcloud. SCIM sounds like the place to start.

    thanks.

We need that integration or to look to another solution...:-(

    Hey Misha,

Thank you for reaching out to us. As for the Active Directory Integration and Azure, you are required to either have an on-premise server or an Azure AD with Domain Servies subscription but we do have some alternative provisioning methods. I would recommend reaching out to your CSM and they will be able to work to help find the best recommendations for your configuration.

+1 to AAD - Last I had heard the testing on the KB4 side was done and still waiting on Microsoft's final approval. Still awaiting SCIM availability in Azure AD.

+1 - very important for user automation...

Currently: newly created user by SSO is without information like name, surname, department etc... all these information are inside azure and ready to be sent..

This way - you need to manualy edit each newly created user and add information for them which could have been automatically gathered during creating of user.

+1 We're a KnowBe4 partner now and need a solution to sync users from M365/Azure into KnowBe4. We have multiple clients that we're ready to setup in KnowBe4.

That's debatable. While there is reference to the SCIM changes in that link, the log states expected drop is Q2 of 2021 as we sit here in Q1 of 2022 with no subsequent comments on its progress. Last reference to SCIM was in March of 2021.

Any update on when this will be released? I monitor the changelog each day in the hopes that we can finally onboard a very large client. I've been told previously that the Beta isn't accepting any new applicants.

    Joe,

Unfortunately I don't have an ETA at this point. The changelog is where we'll announce the release when it comes out of beta.

+1 for Azure AD SCIM support. This is a requirement in this day and age where companies are increasingly moving to the cloud and away from on prem servers. I can't believe you've been promising this feature for years now and it still isn't here! Very disappointing.

Thank you so much for writing in and sharing your interest in this feature! I've noted this down for our team. As Victor had mentioned, we don't quite have an ETA for this to be released from beta yet, but the changelog is where it will be announced. Cheers!
