Smart Groups + Re-hires
In our current onboarding process, new employees are assigned training based on a smart group we have created. This smart group is synced via script with an AD group that significantly limits web traffic until the training has been completed.
Now that we have been a KnowBe4 customer for 6 years, we are running into a unique problem. We have staff that have left our organization for a period of time and are rehired. Since there is no smart group field to indicate the user has been rehired/un-archived, we have no way to auto-assign new employee training.
Has anyone else run into this problem or could advise how we might be able to address? Ideally there would be a smart group criteria along the lines of 'user has been un-archived within the last x days + archive period was longer than y days.'

Hi Russell,
Thank you for your post. I've gone ahead and submitted this as a feature request to our development team. The feedback is much appreciated, and I think this would be a powerful addition to the existing criteria options.
If the users in question are still members of the Smart Group that assigned them training, a potential workaround would be to adjust two settings on the new employee training campaign. The option to "Enable automatic enrollment for new users" will add new group members to a training campaign. If combined with the option to "Enable progress reset for remedial training", users who are restored from an archived state will be seen as being re-enrolled in the group. This will trigger re-enrollment in the training campaign, along with a progress reset for the assigned modules.
