Ability to delay start of training on emplyees auto-enrolled
回答済みI have 2 main reasons for needing a delayed start or due date or an individual basis. We auto enroll new accounts in the training and it is ongoing allowing for completion after the due date.
1: Our company with global employees has several different ways of handling start dates. Sometimes an ID is created months in advanced and sometimes a week in advanced, we have 25 different regions, managing all of that with a 1 week delay before sending an "enrollment as a notification not an actual enrollment email" as some suggestions have been made doesn't work most of the time, it's just delaying the inevitable frustrated manager. We have already extended the enrollment Due dates but with employees starting all the time at different times I get many messages from Managers that they haven't even started yet or just started a few days before the due date.
2: Supporting regions/states where they have extended medical leave or maternity leave has us trying to figure out a way to not repeatedly notify the manager (they email us every time with the same information) while someone is out for months or a year at a time. To be able to set someone as on Medical or have the due date moved would be a big help and cut down on tickets.

Hello Michael,
I can completely see how that can be difficult to deal with. An immediate thought that I had that may or may not work for your application would be the use of smart groups.
Since you can set the smart group Criteria to exclude other groups would could do something like as follows.
User A gets manually placed in the maternity group, This will be a normal static group that needs to be manually modified or it can be based on an AD group if that is a cleaner solution.
Smart group criteria would be:
Anyone that has started in the last year
Anyone who is not in the maternity group.
Then we run the campaign enrollments based on that smart group.
When the user is ready to start training we simply remove them from the maternity group and they will be enrolled in the designated training. Since that initial group is manual the user could be out as long as needed prior to enrollment.
I do understand that is not your original request to have delayed start dates so I'll get that information over to our development team for review. If you'd like a ticket to explore the possibility of a workaround I'd be glad to open that for you! -
I think we have solved the Maternity/sick leave problem by creating a group and excluding that group in the sync. We are going to review with HR on a regular basis to make sure they are not left off for and extended period. It would still be good to have an automated, delay enrollment or delay due date on an individual to minimize the admin micro-management overhead.
The smart group seems like a decent idea (but still has the micro-managing) and I will add notes to switch to a smart group deployment when we start our campaigns over next year, which may add additional benefits.
I appreciate the forwarding of the delayed start dates to the dev team, It would be a great help on both accounts!
