Platform Audit Trail

As KnowBe4 security awareness platform is an IT Security tool - I think it would be a great addition - to have an audit trail within the platform if possible to admin changes for the likes of configuration settings etc. with a date and time and the user that changed them?

  Thanks very much for your feature request! I've submitted it to our development team for review of adding an audit trail. We base a lot of our new releases and features on customer ideas and requests, so we do appreciate your input.

  Hi Folks,

   

  As a financial institution, we are audited regularly and we are examined by the Government regularly.

  One of the big items the examiners have been very particular about, is change control.  What, when, where, and why are changes being made and most importantly, by whom. We are required to provide evidence that we are auditing Administrator Activity for all applications and ensuring the authorities are appropriate for both admin users and regular users.

  Here is the unfortunate reality - without Administrative user audit tracking capability, we may be forced to consider another security Training vendor.  Hopefully that will not be the case, but we do need user auditing for regulatory requirements...

  I guess we will see what happens...

  I was about to request this exact thing.  I'll just upvote instead, as a side item, it would be nice if those logs were available through an API (or I'd settle for syslog output since that functionality is already there) so that my SIEM can ingest them.

  Thank you for the additional request on this one, I've submitted that for you for our devs to review. I can see how an audit log in the console or even via API would be a great addition to our platforms. I can't provide an ETA on the request but our dev team does take these requests seriously and into consideration when we're developing new features for our platforms.

  Hello, I also see as very necessary the possibility of being able to follow the changes in the system, made by the administrators. For this we have the functionality of at least one Audit Report or Audit Logs.
