Is it possible to assign a video that is not a "Training Module"?

I would like to assign a video that I purchased from the Modstore but it is not identified as a Training Module - is that possible through a backdoor :)

  Edit: All videos can now be assigned as training content to your training campaigns. Thanks for your feedback!

   

  Hi all, 

  Just an update - we now have several "Video Modules" (located beneath the Videos filter in the ModStore). These new Video Modules can be assigned to users as part of training campaigns. There will be many more of this style of video this year.

  Hi Nikki,

  Thank you for your question. At this time it is not possible to directly assign a video using our LMS. But I can certainly submit a feature request to our Development Team on your behalf!

  You could manually assign your users the video by downloading it, hosting it on your local server, and letting users know it is available. 

  Alternatively, using your KB4 console, you could embed the video into a landing page you create on your account; add text to this landing page--possibly instructing users to watch the entirety of the video; then add the landing page you've created as a policy acknowledgment for a short training module. After you've done this, set up a training campaign for your users with this short training module. After watching the short training module--in order to get credit for completing the training--the users will be required to acknowledge that they understand the "policy acknowledgment" [the landing page containing the desired video]. This way, you would have some sort of proof that your users watched the video (or at least that they've acknowledged that they've watched the video).

  To simplify this process some, you could just create the landing page with the embedded video and then email your users the link to the landing page.
