    Hi All,

    Great news! The feature to extend training past the due date has been released! When your users miss their training deadlines, you now have the ability to allow training to be completed after the due date at the campaign level and the option to extend training for specific individuals. For more information on this feature, check out this article on the Knowledge Base.

    As I understand, the issue is not fixed?

    Still, not possible to complete "past due" training. It's a little bit frustrating.

    Any update on this? I'm just getting to the end of my first round of training and this is hugely disappoint to find. It will be a major headache to work around this.

    Hi Hi,

    I just spent an hour trying to figure out why someone couldn't take the training past the due date. So definitely a +1 for me, but beyond that, is it possible to get an explanation from Development as to what is difficult? Add a checkbox "Allow user to complete training past due date"...

    IF USER == 'assigned' && STATUS == 'incomplete' && ALLOW_USER_PAST_DUE == 'Yes'; THEN ... Allow the user to complete the assignment past the due date.

    In any event, is there an automated workaround for this? Add the user to a group Called Past Due, then add them back into the original group? That would reset their due date?

    This is a big issue for me as well.  I cannot have mandatory campaigns with no end date or employees will not do it.  It is extremely inefficient to have to create a new campaign for the past due individuals every time they miss a deadline.  It is also frustrating to the employees because they lose any progress they had made in the campaign. 

    I would like to know the timeline for the development team to fix this and would like to hear about possible work arounds.

    Add me to this request as well - we just did our first training campaign, and was an unpleasant surprise to find out that users cannot even access training once the due date has passed - I've never seen that before in any training platform.

    +1000 for this getting fixed. I just spent half an hour looking like a moron in front of my users by telling them to go complete their overdue training... only to find out that their access to the training is gone! What's the point of a deadline if the training just disappears whether someone has taken it or not?! Please fix this ASAP, and in the meantime please let me know how to configure the 12 monthly campaigns I've already set up so they allow my delinquent users to take the training.

    Agree.  How in the world do you re-enroll someone in the training once it is expired.  Shocking to me that so many users have been asking for this and it still isn't available.

    Hi Buddy,

    Thank you for your input. I've forwarded your request to our Development Team for review. We base a lot of our development on customer feedback, so we do appreciate your input. 

    In the meantime, our Platinum and Diamond feature, Smart Groups, may be able to assist you with managing the users who haven't completed their training in time. Smart Groups can be used as an ad hoc reporting tool, to narrow down users who've been enrolled in specific training courses but have not yet completed them.

    This is a huge problem for me also.  Removing a user from training if they are overdue makes zero sense.  I was told this training system was essentially effort free once set up, now it looks like I have to remove the user and add them again to restart the clock on their training.  Not a happy customer.

    If having an End Date makes it impossible for laggards to do their training, I should at the very least be warned of that in big red letters on the creation form. It's an ugly surprise for users to say to me they missed the due date by a few hours and now can't take the course!

    They should be able to complete their training even if they're late.

    I agree - this is a needed enhancement.  It doesn't make sense that the training disappears if they don't complete it by the deadline.  I'd much prefer it to send them (and their manager) a daily nag email!  ;-)

    This is a huge issue and the current setup makes the whole system totally unusable for me - I can only use campaigns with no deadline.

    Thank you for your feedback. I apologize for the inconvenience experienced by this system design, I've submitted your request to our Development team for review. Numerous customer requests often put such matters on our roadmap, hopefully, this will be the result for this situation. 
    In the meantime, if you'd like to use campaigns with a relative duration deadline there are workarounds available when users do not complete their training before the end date. I'd be happy to start a support ticket for you if you're interested in more information.

    Hi Lauren,

    I'd like to hear about the workarounds, since I would like to use this for remedial training, and it makes no sense if users who did not complete the remedial training are then taken out.
