When uploading a document, the file name automatically populates the Name field.

This new feature would save me a ton of time because I'm tracking what we have submitted to our auditor by dragging and dropping evidence to a task. That I have to manually enter a document name is a royal pain. All of my evidence files are named in plain english so that I can identify them in a list. That early practice would save me a lot of keystrokes if the Name field could be auto populated.

  Thanks for reaching out to the community discussion board for KCM GRC! I can certainly understand how auto-populated document names would help you work more efficiently in KCM. Great idea! I’ve submitted a feature request for this functionality to the development team.
  While feature requests aren't guaranteed changes, they are tracked for user interest and considered when our development team makes updates to KCM GRC.
