    Hi Ian,

Thank you for your feedback. We do indeed offer a "non-skip" feature for most content (Guide), which requires that the user view all media without skipping. However, your feedback on the various skipping routes is much appreciated, and I've submitted a feature request for additional administrative controls regarding user training completion.

    Thank you,

    Hi Najjah,

Technically the "non-skip" feature only works for the total amount of time the training is open. I've watched several users open the training, click through as fast as possible and leave the window open before they take the test which keeps the clock ticking. The user is still able to pass the training without truly taking it.

I highly agree with all of Ian's suggestions from an admin perspective and think they would be very beneficial sooner then later.

    Hi Ashley,

Thank you for your feedback.  It depends on the module, but generally non-skip versions of modules should not allow users to skip through the module at all (for example, if there is a video, the next button does not appear until the video is complete).  I recommend opening a ticket with us letting us know which module you are seeing users able to skip through despite being non-skip so we can ensure that it is configured appropriately.

    Thanks,

Hello, is there any update to this feature request? Approved, viewed, denied, on hold?

    Hello Ian,

Non-skip versions of modules should not allow users to skip through the module at all (for example, if there is a video, the next button does not appear until the video is complete). If you are seeing this behavior occur, we recommend opening a ticket with us letting us know which module you are seeing users able to skip through despite being non-skip so we can investigate this further. For the feature request that was put in previously I do not see any release news updates as of now, however in the meantime please be sure to keep an eye out for our latest changes here: https://support.knowbe4.com/hc/en-us/articles/115009454228-Security-Awareness-Training-Platform-KMSAT-Change-Log. Best!

I understand the Non-skip feature. I do not believe it is on all trainings which does not satisfy my service request. Also I do not believe Non-Skip is the only admin feature that can be applied. My concerns addressed in the original request suggest there are other workarounds.

    Hello Ian,

Thanks for your response and I appreciate your patience while the team continues to review your feature request.  Unfortunately I do not have any new updates at this time.  I can assure you that your workarounds have been sent.  I would also recommend that you follow up with your CSM so they can continue to keep an eye on this request on your behalf.

    Thanks,

There's more to skipping that just expecting people to sit through the video until the "Next" button appears. Users can start a video then drag the time mark on it to where there is only a few seconds left, after which the Next button appears. If people aren't being prevented from changing the time left on the video, then the non-skip feature isn't effective.

    Hi Jennie,

Thank you for your contribution to this post. That's a good point that you've brought up so I'll go ahead and add that to the feature request. We appreciate your input.

    Kind regards,

    Michael
