Main difference between the PAB and the Gmail PAB

Hi there, so our users are free to use different browsers so we're not locking them down, so would I be correct in assuming that the standard PAB would only be working in Chrome and that the Gmail PAB is the way to go?  Functionally is there a difference? Just trying to find out  as I'm still in the rollout phase :)

  Hi Tino,

  If the standard PAB referenced is our Google Workspace Extension (GPAB), you would be correct in that it will only be available to Chrome users. To allow PAB use in Gmail via different browsers, the Gmail Add on (GAP) would be the version to use. For ease of reference, here is our Compatibility Matrix for the Phish Alert Button.

  Thank you Najjah. So outside of the compatibility, there is no real functional difference or issue - no real downside outside of the lack of mobile android and ipad support it seems.

  That would be correct. Outside of compatibility concerns (and a slight difference in location and appearance), there is no functional difference for users.
