50+ Minute Training Module for providing CPE
AnsweredHi,
Not sure if this is the right place for this request...
In the Tax and Accounting profession, staff are required to take a certain number of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) hours each year. For 2020 Security Awareness training, we provided the 45 minutes Kevin Mitnick training module and were told afterwards that training needs to be 50 minutes in length minimum to be able to qualify for offering CPE. We would probably get a lot more staff being willing participants if we could offer them CPE with the training.
Would it be possible, for 2021, to have a general security awareness training module developed that was at least 50 minutes in length?

Thanks!

I wanted to second this request. It would be extremely valuable for our CPA's to receive continuing ed credits for selected training modules. In fact, several other professional licensures our employees have such as real estate and appraisal have similar requirements and would benefit from this.
