Junk Email or reporting as a phish
AnsweredI started working on some instructions on how to deal with Unsubscribing from notifications/emails to block unsolicited messages. I came to a point where I'm wondering if telling users to block the sender in outlook would compete with using the PAB. PAB doesn't block future messages, but teh Block sender will. I know the differences and benefits but I also know our users will get confused if we go over them; they already have a lot on their minds and to expect them to make that decision is more stress.
hoe is everybody else handling this?

I have same dilemma. I ask my users to report ALL unwanted email with PAB. I try to analyze each email and give instructions as needed. Most are real spam that I forward to our spam filter provider. Some are valid emails and I send instructions to unsubscribe or Block Sender.
Still, asking them to use only one method, I still have users who added knowbe4 to their blocked senders list in Outlook. I send emails to everyone reminding them what to do, how to do, screenshots and all. It's unfortunately time-consuming.
My current goal is to enroll non-PAB users in regular training campaigns. Don't want to send phish alerts to IT? You blocked KnowBe4 emails? Fine. We have a special training class just for you.
