    Hello everyone!

We have just released a feature to allow for additional formatting on PhishER email templates. When creating an email template, you will now see an option to the right of "Insert Placeholder" called "Source" that will allow you to customize emails by HTML as well.

You can read more on this feature here.

Thank you all again for contributing to the community board!

    Hi Ryan,

Thank you for your PhishER feedback! I've submitted a feature request on your behalf to our development team for review. We base a lot of our new releases and features on customer ideas and requests, so we do appreciate your input.

    Thanks!

I agree with Ryan.  I've had people report my email from PhishER as a phish because it didn't have the formatting I trained my users to look for.  I also cannot get the spacing right, it seems to add extra spaces in the email where I don't want them.

    Thanks!

Yes, this is huge.  As we are going to start implementing a strict format for IT emails, with banners and other identifying objects.  Currently there is no way to match up anything sent from PhishER.

@Mike and Phil -- until KB4 implements a more robust formatting system, I have solved the challenge of users reporting the templates by adding them to an Action and Rule for Trusted Applications. The Rule looks for a set of trusted senders and the action responds to let the user know that the e-mail is valid and from a trusted application.

This is a stop gap but the approach may help you until a feature is released.

    Hi Ashley,

Thanks for working on this feature.  I was trying to set up my template with my custom HTML.  Unfortunately, my formatting is changed when I de-select the new </> Source button and go back in.

The first thing I want to do is eliminate the spacing the gets put in before and after the <P></P>.  I would rather format using non-breaking spaces or <br>.

    All the formatting reverts back.

    Thanks

    Mike
