Group membership as a smart criterion
AnsweredWhen creating a smart user group, group membership could be one of the smart criteria. This way we may create high level smart groups out of a few existing ones. For example, creating a new smart group for Latin America users and adding all respective countries' smart groups to the same. Right now, we need to create the smart group for the region from scratch, adding all respective criteria once again.

I can see I can make a smart group from a dumb group, but I have a smart group that I want to split for training (ie, people who completed module X last year get assigned Y, new hires who did not, take X). I kinda assumed I could do this, but apparently I'll have to clone the initial group and do this at the top level. Annoying.

Hi Rita,
I can see why that would be annoying. I have added a feature request for you as well to be able to split smart groups. While not every feature request is implemented our development team does review them all. Many great features have come from ideas that customers such as yourself have submitted. Thank you.
