Cyren Inbox Security (CIS) establishes a new layer of automated security to detect and remediate phishing, business email compromise (BEC), and malware threats that have penetrated existing defenses and reached your users' mailbox. Integrating CIS with your KnowBe4 platform will allow your users to scan and report potential phishing threats, make informed decisions on whether or not an email is malicious, and reinforce their security awareness training and simulated phishing training.
Once your users scan or report an email, it's sent to CIS. If the scanned or reported email is a simulated phishing email, CIS will identify and classify the email as Training, with the exception of any URLs or attachments in the email. Then, you can find an indication of your training campaigns on the Investigate page in your CIS platform.
If you enable the Button Feedback feature and add your Phish Alert license key in the Token field of your CIS platform, your KnowBe4 platform will be updated when your user reports a simulated phishing email with the Cyren button. Scan or report events will be sent back to your KnowBe4 platform and appear on the Phish Alert Button report. You can find this report on the Dashboard of your KnowBe4 console.
