Learner Dashboard Overview
The Learner Dashboard is a customizable tab in the Learner Experience (LX) where users can view information about their training progress. This optional feature can be customized to show a variety of information and is enabled from your Account Settings page. Plus, the Learner Dashboard uses your account’s brand color to help maintain a familiar look and feel for your users. Click here to view an example dashboard.
Use the links below to learn how more about the Learner Dashboard. You can also check out our Learner Dashboard Video for a visual overview.
Note:
KnowBe4 accounts active prior to August of 2020 will automatically have the Learner Dashboard option disabled. New accounts activated during or after August of 2020 will automatically have the Learner Dashboard option enabled.

Enable or Disable the Learner Dashboard
When the Learner Dashboard is enabled, users will be able to see a summary of their training completion including their training status and due dates. You can also choose to display Phishing Information, Risk Information, and Gamification. Follow the steps below to enable or disable the Learner Dashboard:
- Navigate to your Account Settings.
- To do this: click on your email address at the top-right and select Account Settings.
- Go to the Learner Experience section.
- Find the Learner Dashboard subsection.
- Click the Enable Learner Dashboard checkbox to enable the Learner Dashboard.
- To disable the Learner Dashboard, uncheck the Enable Learner Dashboard checkbox.
- With the dashboard enabled, the following options will become available:
- Click the Enable Phishing Information checkbox to enable the Phishing Test Results tile.
- Click the Enable Risk Information checkbox to enable the Personal Risk Score tile.
Training Information
When the Learner Dashboard is enabled, your users will see three training tiles: Training Progress, Incomplete Training, and a list of their most recent assignments.
The Training Progress tile shows the percentage of completed training assignments and includes a link to the training section of the LX.
The Incomplete Training tile shows how many training assignments are in progress, how many have not been started yet, and how many are past due.
The last tile on the Learner Dashboard displays the user’s most recent training assignments along with the status and when the training is due. Users can also click on a row to be taken to that specific training assignment.
Phishing Information
When the Phishing Information option is enabled, users will see the Phishing Test Results tile on their Learner Dashboard.
This tile shows the number of phishing emails the user reported and the number of failures on phishing tests, compared to the total number of simulated phishing emails they received.
When a user reports a simulated phishing email without failing the phishing test, it is counted as a Reported Phishing Email.
Any negative interaction with a simulated phishing email, such as replying, downloading attachments, and clicking a link within the email are counted as Phishing Failures.
Note:
If you have set up anonymized data for your account, the Phishing Information option will be unavailable. This is typically set up with your Customer Success Manager or through Support. See this article for more information.
Risk Information
When the Risk Information option is enabled, users will see the Personal Risk Score tile on their Learner Dashboard. This tile shows the user’s Risk Score along with a brief explanation. This tile also includes a link to our End User: What is a Personal Risk Score? article which they can read to learn more about what their Risk Score means and how to improve it.
Note:
If you have set up anonymized data for your account, the Risk Information option will be unavailable. This is typically set up with your Customer Success Manager or through Support. See this article for more information.
Gamification
If Gamification is enabled on your account, users will see two related tiles: Badges and Leaderboard.
The Badges tile shows how many badges that the user has earned and includes a link to our How Do I Earn Badges? article.
The Leaderboard tile shows where the user’s group ranks against other groups and includes a link to the leaderboard.
Note:
The Badges and Leaderboard tiles cannot be toggled on or off individually. These are automatically enabled for any account using both Gamification and the Learner Dashboard.
