Selecting a Default Date and Time Format for Your Console
The default date and time format can be modified in your Account Settings, in the Organization Information section. After selecting a default format, any new users that are imported will inherit the default setting into their User Profile.
There are two date and time format options available:
- 12-hour
- MM/DD/YYYY hh:mm AM/PM
- Example: 01/31/2018 02:00 PM
- MM/DD/YYYY hh:mm AM/PM
- 24-hour
- DD/MM/YYYY HH:mm
- Example: 31/01/2018 14:00
- DD/MM/YYYY HH:mm
Can I change the default date and time format for existing users?
For users that were imported prior to selecting a default date and time format, or for users in specific locations where a different date and time format is needed than the default, you can use the CSV Import option under the Users > Import Users tabs of the console to change this setting.
To change the date and time format through a CSV import, follow these steps:
- First, ensure you've prepared a CSV which contains the email addresses of the users that you'd like to change the default date and time format for. If you haven't yet, you can export a CSV from the Users area of the console.
- You will need only two header fields on the CSV:
- Date Format
- Enter the number (1 or 2) that indicates the date format you'd like to use:
- MM/DD/YYYY hh:mm AM/PM (12-hour)
- DD/MM/YYYY HH:mm (24-hour)
- Enter the number (1 or 2) that indicates the date format you'd like to use:
- You will need only two header fields on the CSV:
- After preparing your CSV, navigate to the Users > Import Users > CSV Import area.
- Click "Browse" to find and select your prepared CSV.
- Click "Import Users".
- Success! The date and time format settings should be updated for the users you included in your CSV.

Note:
The CSV Import must contain the headers noted above as well as a setting of either 1 or 2 beneath the Date Format header in order to change the date and time format setting. If the field beneath Date Format is left blank, the date and time format will not be updated.
