Working With Applicable Date Range
When your organization undergoes an audit, the auditor may need to verify that a sample of evidence was in effect during a specific time frame. For example, it may be required that your employees take compliance training every year. This means the compliance training would only be applicable for one year. To record this time frame in your KCM GRC platform, users can enter an Applicable Date Range for the evidence that they submit for control tasks.
Note:
This feature is currently being tested by select customers, but it will be widely available soon. If you would like to be part of our early access testing, please contact your Customer Success Manager. The Applicable Date Range feature is available to accounts that have enabled Effective Date Range (EDR) for task schedules. To check if your account has EDR enabled, navigate to your Account Settings and see the Allow Effective Date Range in task schedules field (click to view example).
This guide explains how to submit an applicable date range for evidence and it explains the areas of your platform where you can view the evidence's applicable date range. See the jump links below to learn more.
